These terms govern your use of skinsourcer.com and anything you buy through it. By using the site you accept them. Last updated 8 September 2026.
The site is operated by LORYN LLC, San Luis Obispo, California. Questions go to hello@skinsourcer.com, where a person reads them.
Two different things happen on this site
Drops are ours. We buy a finite quantity, import it, and sell it to you directly. Checkout runs on Shopify.
The Shelf is editorial. We do not sell anything on it. Its links go out to brands and retailers, and buying through them is a contract between you and that retailer, on their terms, at their prices, with their returns policy. We are not a party to it.
Affiliate links
Some links on The Shelf are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through one. It costs you nothing extra. It has never decided which products go on a page and it never will. Every affiliate link is labelled on the page it appears on, and our privacy policy explains what those links share.
Orders, prices and stock
Prices are in US dollars and can change. Every price on The Shelf was read on the day the page was published or last reviewed, and the date is printed on the page; retailers move prices constantly and we cannot guarantee one will still be there when you arrive.
We may refuse or cancel an order, including after you receive a confirmation, if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was wrong, or if we suspect fraud or resale. If we cancel a paid order we refund it in full.
Drops are finite by design. When a drop sells out it is gone unless we say otherwise.
Shipping and returns
We ship within the United States only, at a flat rate stated at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier, but if something arrives damaged, wrong, or not at all, we will make it right.
All sales are final. The full policy, including damaged and missing parcels, is on the returns page.
Products are cosmetics
Everything we sell and everything we write about is a cosmetic or a personal care product. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Statements here have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and no product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Read the ingredient list on the packaging before you use anything, patch test if you are reactive, and speak to a doctor or a pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or managing a skin condition. You know your skin and your history; we do not.
Our writing and our images
The text, photography, artwork and page design on this site belong to LORYN LLC. You are welcome to link to us and to quote a sentence or two with attribution. You may not republish an Edit, scrape the site, or use our pages to train a model without written permission.
Brand names, product names and packaging belong to their owners and appear here for identification and comment. No brand on The Shelf has paid for its place, and inclusion is not an endorsement by that brand of us.
Using the site
Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not buy from us for resale unless you have applied through wholesale and we have agreed to it in writing.
What we do not promise
We check every product page we link to and we say when we checked it. We cannot promise a retailer's stock, price, shipping estimate or description, and we cannot promise that a product will do for your skin what it did for someone else's. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, LORYN LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to what you paid for that order.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Luis Obispo County, California have jurisdiction over any dispute.
